Sexual Violence Awareness Booth

Join SANQC and the Centre for Growth and Harmony for Sexual Violence Awareness Day.

SANQC has invited the City of Edmonton to bring the interactive simulation booth “This is What It Feels Like”. Participants can see and feel how sexual harassment and sexual violence occurs on a daily basis through cat-calling. We are mindful of the nature of the audio and will provide a full warning of content before anyone is invited inside to try the simulation. There will be a City of Edmonton social worker and certified counselor on site for support.

This is great opportunity to look at gender-based violence and work toward sexual assault prevention at NorQuest.
