Week of Welcome • Wellness Wednesday

Join the Centre for Growth and Harmony for some mindful meditation as they launch their Wellness Wednesday Spring/Summer series! The Wellness Wednesdays series is made up of open virtual events for students to connect and learn about all things wellness related, and to find out about services offered by the Wellness Team.

On Wed, May 18, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other NorQuest students, do a quick ‘pulse check’ to see how you’re all feeling, meet a member of the Wellness Team, and then dive in to a 30-minute guided meditation practice. No experience is needed, simply wear something comfortable and ensure you’re in a safe space where you can sit or lay during the practice. Attendees are welcome to turn off their cameras during the meditation if that feels more comfortable.

Each session following this, they’ll explore a new topic such as journaling, fitness, nutrition and more as a group. You’ll discuss ways in which you can schedule time into your week to practice simple self-care and share stories of success with each other.
