SANQC is student led. The Students’ Council members that speak on behalf of students are elected by you – the students at NorQuest. All of our elections are held online so that all eligible students can vote.

How to Vote

  • All students that are eligible to vote will receive an email to their NorQuest student email account with voting instructions and a link to their ballot.
  • Students will follow the directions in the email to cast their vote.
  • All results will be tallied and announced at the end of the election.

Hello Norquest and fellow students, my name is Gloria Adewale and I am excited to be running for students’ council representative for the faculty of Health Studies. I’m running for Student Representative because I believe it’s time for change, action, and unity. I believe in the power of student voices, and I’m committed to making our school a better, more inclusive place for everyone. Together, we can ensure that every voice is heard and every concern is addressed. As an international student myself, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new culture, balancing academics, and creating meaningful connections. I’m passionate about making sure that all international students and non-international students as well feel welcomed, supported, and included in every aspect of student life.

– Enhancing Student’s well-being: Advocate for increased access to workshops focused on stress management and emotional well-being. Push for more awareness of how students can manage their academic workload alongside extracurricular activities.

– Student Driven Solutions: My platform is about what you want and need. I commit to taking your suggestions directly to the administration and will follow up on every issue raised, making sure that it is not just about words but about action.

– Equity and Inclusivity: Foster an environment where all students, regardless of background, feel welcome. Work with administration to ensure that bullying and harassment are dealt with swiftly and ensure all students feel safe and respected.

– Academic Flexibility and support: Advocate for increased flexibility in course selections, including more electives that cater to diverse student interests. Push for better access to study materials and more spaces for quiet study.

– Student Engagement & Involvement: Support the creation of new student organizations that reflect the interest of the student body.

Hi there to all of you. My name is Arpan Jeet, and I’m a candidate for the Student Council. My dedication, my aptitude for efficient communication, and my ability to create lasting networks make me the ideal candidate for this position, in my opinion.

I’ve put a lot of effort into raising my grades and demonstrating my commitment throughout the last year. My grades prevented me from getting in last year, but I saw that as a challenge. I took the necessary action because I knew I had to. I’ve raised my grades because I think that being on the Student Council is about more than simply academics; it’s about growth, resilience, and having the capacity to confidently and devotedly represent all of you.

I am a hardworking person who never backs down from a challenge. I know how to talk to people,

My name is Jaspreet Kaur and I am from India. I am currently pursuing Business Administration
Management program. I am thrilled to run for the position of Students Council Representative. Apart from this, over the past three semesters I have been an active volunteer in the SANQC., Being a part of SANQC’s volunteer activities I am able to gain practical leadership experience and have a comprehensive understanding of value of our students and it strengthened my commitment to advocating for the needs, rights and concerns of students, which aligns with the council’s core mission.
